Construction Materials, Technology, and Supplies From a Certified Small Business
SDVOSB Construction is the construction line of SDVOSB Materials Technology & Supply LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) registered and active on SAM.gov under UEI K39HBMPLN4B3 and CAGE 7YX60.
What the division does, stated the way the company states it: source construction materials, technology, and supplies. In practice that means furnishing, equipping and fitting out institutional buildings for federal agencies, state agencies, higher education institutions, federal laboratories, corrections agencies, and the prime contractors who build for them. A large share of it happens inside an active construction site, on the builder's schedule and under the builder's access rules.
The division is also registered under construction and specialty-trade NAICS codes. That registration is what makes the company solicitable on construction-coded requirements. It is a separate claim from the one above, and this site keeps the two apart rather than blending them into a general contracting pitch.
If you are a prime contractor with subcontracting commitments to meet, start with the next section. If you are a contracting officer or a facilities director sourcing materials or a fit-out package, the detail sits on three pages: construction services, construction clients, and construction contact.

Meet Your Federal Small Business Subcontracting Goals With SDVOSB Materials
One trusted supplier. Four small business categories.
Federal prime contractors face increasing pressure to expand small business participation and meet their subcontracting commitments. SDVOSB Materials Technology & Supply LLC provides a streamlined way to source construction materials, technology, and supplies from a certified small business supporting four small business socioeconomic categories: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone).
Why that structure is useful to a small business liaison officer is written into the clause itself. FAR 52.219-9, Small Business Subcontracting Plan (January 2025) requires a subcontracting plan to carry separate goals for small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. Those are distinct lines to plan against, report on, and defend.
Our position is a sourcing one, not an accounting one: fewer suppliers to qualify, vet, and onboard across categories your plan already tracks, from a vendor whose federal registrations and certifications are published and independently verifiable. How any individual subcontract is credited against your goals is a determination for your contracting officer, not for us.
The Four Small Business Categories, Stated Precisely
Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB): certified under SBA's program. Current certification period 16 August 2024 to 13 September 2027.
HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone): SBA-certified HUBZone small business since 13 September 2022. The HUBZone principal office is in Florida.
Small Business (SB): small business under the applicable SBA size standards.
Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB): a self-certified SDB representation in SAM.gov. It is a self-certification and is not vetted by SBA.
One further credential sits outside those four: Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), certified under SBA's program over the same certification period as the SDVOSB certification.
That last bullet is stated plainly on purpose. A prime relies on what a supplier represents in SAM.gov, and an overstated category is a worse problem than a missing one. SDVOSB, VOSB, and HUBZone are SBA-certified and are described that way here. SDB is a representation, and is described as one.
Two Claims, Kept Separate
Construction pages tend to blur what a company is registered to be asked about with what it has actually built a crew and a logistics operation around. Those are different things, and a buyer evaluating a subcontractor needs them apart. Here they are apart.
Demonstrated Capability: What We Actually Deliver
The division's record is in furnishing, equipping and fitting out institutional buildings. The work that shows up again and again:
Systems furniture and workstation runs for office fit-out
Laboratory casework, benching and overhead shelving
Detention furniture, including anti-ligature beds, fixed stools, wall-mounted cubbies and dayroom seating
Auditorium and theater seating
Cafeteria and dining furniture, and lockers
Clinical and simulation equipment, including nursing manikins and exam and imaging carts
Console and command center furniture
Access control and building automation panels
Residential and apartment furnishing
Modular and mobile laboratory and imaging units, placed and connected on site
Heavy and specialized logistics, including rail movement on Department of Defense flatcar equipment
Most of that lands on a live job site: coordinated with the general contractor, sequenced behind the trades, and delivered through whatever dock, hoist, escort or badging regime the facility runs. That is the part buyers tend to underestimate, and it is the part this division is built around.
Registered Capability: What You Can Solicit Us Under
The following NAICS codes sit in the company's federal registration. A registered code means the category is in our SAM.gov record, so a buyer can find us and solicit us under it. It does not represent a trade crew standing by for every activity the code covers.
Construction and specialty trade: 236210, 236220, 237130, 238290, 238350, 238390, 238990
Construction-materials wholesale: 423310, 423390
Related supply: 423720, 424950
Official 2022 Census titles for each of those codes are published on the construction services page, quoted as what they are: the titles of codes we are registered under. If a requirement falls inside a registered category but outside what we perform directly, we say so in writing before quoting.
Past Performance
Projects delivered for:
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), New York
Fashion Institute of Technology (SUNY FIT)
Shirley Chisholm building, an office fit-out with systems furniture
Idaho National Laboratory (INL), a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory
New York State DMV, Brooklyn
A South Carolina correctional facility, conveyor
These are named institutions the company has delivered projects for. Role, period of performance and value are not published here for any of them, and scope is published only where the owner has confirmed it. Ask for the specifics on any reference through the construction contact page, and the answer will be limited to what the contract record supports.
Contract Access and Set-Aside Eligibility
The company is eligible for SDVOSB and HUBZone set-asides as a certified small business, and is registered active on SAM.gov. Eligible means eligible to compete for and be awarded work. It is not pre-approval, and not a guarantee of award.
Three routes are available to the division's work: direct award under a small business or socioeconomic set-aside; a subcontract under a prime's small business subcontracting plan; and state or institutional purchasing, where the New York State SDVOB certification applies for New York State buyers. Which route fits a given requirement depends on the solicitation.
Certification is not endorsement. SBA certification establishes eligibility under a federal program. It does not represent any agency's endorsement of this company, its services, or its products.
