SDVOSB Construction supplies construction materials, technology and supplies to federal, state, and institutional buyers, and furnishes, equips and fits out institutional buildings, frequently inside an active construction site. The division is separately registered under building-construction and specialty-trade NAICS codes that make it solicitable in those categories; which scope it can perform directly on a given requirement is confirmed in writing before quoting. This page sets out what to send so the first reply is a usable answer instead of a request for more information.

What to Send for a Fast, Useful Quote
Six items cover most of what we need in order to scope a response:

The NAICS code the solicitation cites. Send it exactly as the solicitation writes it. It is the fastest way for us to match your requirement against our SAM.gov registration.

Which of three the scope is: materials supply, a furniture and equipment fit-out package delivered and installed, or construction work at the site. They carry different clauses, and a fit-out package is routinely mis-scoped as one of the other two. This changes the answer more than any other single detail.

Whether Davis-Bacon wage determinations are attached. Tell us if they are, and give the determination number.

The delivery or job-site location. Full address, plus site access constraints: dock, delivery hours, hoist or elevator availability, escort or badging requirements, secure facility. If the building is still under construction, tell us who holds the schedule.

The schedule. Quote due date, anticipated award date, and the required delivery or completion date.

Whether small business subcontracting credit is a factor. Say so up front and we will send the socioeconomic categories our registration supports along with the quote, so your small business liaison officer has what they need.
Drawings, specification sections, a bill of materials, a furniture or equipment schedule, or the solicitation number itself all help. Partial information is fine: send what you have.

Credentials a Contracting Officer or SBLO Will Ask For
Certified under SBA's programs as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and a HUBZone small business. Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) is a self-certified representation in SAM.gov and is not vetted by SBA. New York State SDVOB, Certification Control # 171538.
The SDVOSB and VOSB certification period runs 16 August 2024 to 13 September 2027; HUBZone certification has been held since 13 September 2022. The company is eligible for SDVOSB and HUBZone set-asides. Every credential above can be checked on the SBA Small Business Search profile.
