We earned the VETCON Patriot Warrior Enterprise Award from New York State. And the Healthcare Diversity Supplier Alliance’s Earl G. Reubel Diverse Enterprise of the Year Award that is presented to a Diverse Enterprise that has demonstrated its excellence in service, quality and assurance of supply within the healthcare industry. The alliance stated, “enterprise represents a good model for other MWVBEs and may serve as a mentor to them.”

 

SDVOSB is 100% veteran owned and family run business, led by owner and CEO, Harrison James Kendall (U.S. Army - Operation Enduring Freedom, Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan, now 100% disabled combat veteran, verified by the VA). He established the business in 2017. After serving our country in combat with the U.S. Army, Harrison began his career as a 100% Service Disabled, Combat Veteran Business entrepreneur. Harry says, "We are relentless in our service to our clients, country, and community, and we are committed to hiring a diversity workforce regardless of Disability, Race, Gender, Sex, Health, Immigration status, Health, Education, and we prove it...every day. In that context, we have not let COVID crush our business or our community, we have worked every day for two years to make that a certainty."

 

Harrison Kendall and his team of Veterans, family and longtime professional associates are a profile in support for our Health, our Nation and our Citizens. He has not only hired Service-Disabled Veterans from the conflicts in Vietnam, Iraq, and Post 911, but he has supported them through the COVID-19 pandemic. His Patriotism and dedication to his clients in the United States, and health and education centers, and he earned his company SDVOSB Materials Technology & Supply LLC two (2) Opps4Vets Skin in the Game Awards and two (2) nominations for the International Facility Management Association's (IFMA) Award for Excellence in Innovation (the only Veteran owned company selected).   

He was active in the New York University’s Veteran Futures Lab business incubator assisting peer Veteran company owners to succeed, grow and prosper. As a member of the American Legion Post 1291, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a life-time member of the Disabled American Veterans, Harry, as a 100% Disabled Veteran, has dedicated his life and his company ethos to the Community and for the United States of America.
